THE SIGNS WE. NEED CHANGE ARE EVERYWHERE

Well; a majority of Americans are not fully engaged in their work, don’t trust  most of their political and civic leaders, and are feeling fairly insaecure about a future that seems to be spinning madly out of their. Control.  Song from the early 70’s  seems to strike a chord about divisions in our social structure and  some folks who wish to make a statement that might be just as true today.  so ...here it is

PHILOSOPHY

Well  this fits right into much of our social discussion and the social discussion that has raged on  in classic economics for  most of western civilization’s  history.  There is economic disparity and opportunities are often  handed out based on physical appearance rather than on the merit (if you try hard enough) meritocracy that is preached in schools and in. Middle class homes.  Upper class homes  often deny the privilege. That they have and. Blame others for not. Having the merit needed to move up regardless.of inequality of education and training. Opportunities as well.

The verse regarding  our wanting to fence in nature and control wildlife as superiors and using fences to even keep fellow humans out is pointed given our increased notions of our planet’s  ecosystems.  Finally l the verse that has the writier leaving a sincere note of gratitude about. Being. In existence and doing okay is a very telling  phrase about what the writer wants to say to the  greater forces in the universe regardless of the crimes  and misbehaving being done. Against man and nature by his fellow man

In the end the writer. Calls into question the rights of men to who  seem to be engaged in hypocracy to  make the rules for. Others and in a world that seems to be  displaying a lot of  hypocracy in many arenas this message carries some important lessons.
